01. Summary
The client was previously selling their product on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. However, they wanted to shift their focus to selling directly to customers, without the use of third-party marketplaces. To accomplish this, we assisted them in building a new eCommerce website design with the goal of improving its search engine ranking for targeted keywords and enhancing the user experience for conversions.
After the launch of the new website, we were able to achieve significant results in a relatively short period of time. In just four months, the client saw a 222.53% increase in revenue, with transactions rising by 124.14%. This was a direct result of our efforts in optimizing the website’s design and user experience, as well as our work in improving its search engine ranking for targeted keywords. The company was able to achieve its goal of selling directly to customers and saw a significant increase in revenue as a result.
02. Challenges
PureTec Fitness, a leading home fitness retail brand in Europe, recognized the rapidly growing eCommerce industry and identified that building an eCommerce site of its own would greatly benefit the brand in terms of building brand value and increasing customer loyalty. Established in 1995, PureTec Fitness has been selling high-quality fitness products for home and gym use throughout various European countries, advertising brands such as Steelbody, Marcy, and Everlast at highly competitive prices on online marketplaces.
However, despite its success, PureTec Fitness identified the disadvantages and potential threats of offering its products primarily through third-party sites. With plans for growth in mind for the coming years, it became clear that launching a brand new eCommerce website would provide an advantage in terms of both brand and customer value, which could not be achieved through relying solely on online marketplaces.
03. Solution
After extensive discussions with PureTec Fitness, it was decided to rebuild their website with Digitbite. We conducted a thorough analysis of their existing non-eCommerce website and competitors’ sites to identify key areas for improvement, with the goal of increasing the website’s search engine ranking for key search terms and creating regular content for the blog.
One of the key factors before migrating to the newly built website was technical SEO. We performed a technical SEO audit and provided detailed recommendations for the developer to implement during the website migration process. Additionally, we carried out extensive keyword research to identify potential keywords, taking into consideration searchers’ intent and implementing them in the content while maintaining quality and readability. Overall, we aimed to improve the site score by incorporating these potential keywords.
